About the Opportunity

KingSett Capital is seeking a Director of Infrastructure and Cybersecurity to join the Technology team. In this role, you will work with key stakeholders to align infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions with business strategies. You will be accountable for KingSett’s outsourced managed IT services provider while supporting any internal needs as required.

This is a leadership and hands on role that will partner with external providers to manage infrastructure operations, cyber security, business applications support and vendor management. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and technical expertise on Infrastructure, Cyber Security and Service Delivery. Lead the team responsible for managing day to day activities.
  • Develop and maintain a technology roadmap for the infrastructure and security portfolio, ensuring that it aligns with business objectives.
  • Manage external IT service providers to ensure delivery of services in accordance with SLAs.
  • Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements.
  • Manage projects, address reliability issues, track service KPIs and metrics, and participate in capacity management, change management, and security initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate IT documentation, including policies.
  • Identify potential areas where existing policies, processes, controls, and tools require change or need to be developed to ensure appropriate governance objectives are met and recommend appropriate action plans.
  • Develop and implement IT performance measures, indicators, benchmarks, and guidelines to ensure quality assurance standards against best practices.
  • Manage and support internal responsibilities not covered by external service providers.
  • Manage IT control framework and testing.
  • Ensure ongoing business operations are maintained including network and IT assets.
  • Maintain budgets and timelines as part of project plans, for assigned projects/scope.
  • Oversee vendor management and procurement of all IT assets.

Candidate Profile

  • 10+ years of career progression within the Network Infrastructure & Cybersecurity realm.
  • People leadership experience, including performance management and hiring team members.
  • Experience working with managed service providers, SaaS services, and hosted solutions.
  • Experience with cloud migration strategy, deployment, monitoring and maintenance.
  • Excellent technical and operational experience in cybersecurity
  • Experience with a variety of cybersecurity disciplines and topics including vulnerability management, access management, cloud security, risk management, security operations, frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF), etc.
  • Experience developing, communicating, and implementing cybersecurity or technology strategies
  • Demonstrated experience in leading process improvement and organization change initiatives.
  • Understands the value of pro-active problem resolution, and continuous performance improvement.
  • Proven ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization and to collaborate with a diverse group of professionals in the asset management industry.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts and theories to non-technical audiences, excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high-stress situations, with effective time management, task prioritization, and ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Exhibit excellent analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple competing priorities under strict timelines, as well as the ability to work well in a demanding, fast paced environment.
