KingSett Capital is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Fund Finance team in Toronto. Day to Day Responsibilities of the Role

  • Managing treasury process, including managing borrowings and allocating debt/interest
  • Assist in monthly and quarterly reporting process, including preparing journal entries, consolidated financial statements, real estate portfolio analysis and other ad hoc analysis as required
  • Assist with preparation of investor related activities, including capital calls, distributions as well as maintaining the integrity of the investor records
  • Assisting asset management and investment groups with information requests
  • Assisting with the annual budget process and quarterly forecasting
  • Assisting with the annual audit process as well as preparation of certain tax files

Candidate Profile

  • CPA/CPA In-Progress, with 3-4 years of experience
  • Excellent proficiency with MS Excel and strong skills with other Microsoft software
  • Working knowledge of financial statements and related notes, including ASPE and IFRS will be an asset
  • Real estate experience will be an asset
  • Excellent problem solving/critical thinking skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently as well as with others
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task, analyze and be detail oriented
  • Positive attitude and takes initiative
