Director, Multi-Residential Asset Management

About the Opportunity

KingSett Capital is seeking a Director, Multi-Residential Asset Management to join the Toronto team reporting to the Senior Vice President, Multi-Residential & Hotels. In this role you will work very closely with management to assist in the identification, evaluation, and implementation of value creation strategies.

Role Responsibilities

  • Maximize value and optimize property performance.

  • Partner with property managers in the preparation, reviewing and approving annual property budgets.

  • Monitor property performance against budgets.

  • Develop long-term plans for major capital projects in a cost effective and service enhancing strategy.

  • Conduct monthly property reviews to ensure timely delivery of property results, alignment and advancement of key property objectives.

  • Analyze property and portfolio performance and track monthly KPI’s across the portfolio.

  • Seek new and creative PropTech for pilot and roll-out.

  • Support acquisition and disposition including underwriting and due diligence.  Recommend property managers for new acquisitions.

  • Work closely with the KingSett development team including design, underwriting and building launch.

  • Undertake ongoing market research and compilation of data including leasing trends.

  • In partnership with internal and external stakeholders, prepare board reporting materials.

  • Participate in special projects and ad hoc requests.

Candidate Profile

  • Undergraduate degree in business or real estate.

  • 7–10 years of experience in real estate.

  • Multi-family asset management, investments, leasing, and/or property management experience is an asset.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Proven ability to identify value creation opportunities.

  • Track record of executing revenue-enhancing initiatives and improving asset value, with knowledge of multi-family and urban intensification development projects.

  • Ability to implement new technologies to enhance building operations and customer experience.

  • Strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

Base salary range of $140,000-$160,000.
Total compensation includes salary, variable discretionary bonus, benefits, & other perks.
