Rob Kumer

Rob Kumer is the Chief Executive Officer at KingSett Capital. Rob joined KingSett in 2004 and today as CEO, leads the execution of the firm’s strategy and delivering results for investors.

Rob began his career across a variety of underwriting, development and investments roles for both private and publicly owned real estate businesses. Rob started his tenure at KingSett as an investment analyst and held increasingly senior roles until 2018, when he was elevated to Chief Investment Officer and named Investment Committee Chair, overseeing new investment activity and finance strategy, and providing oversight of KingSett’s mortgage lending business. In 2021, Rob was appointed President, KingSett Capital and Chair of KingSett’s Management Committee, which is responsible for the ongoing implementation of the firm’s business strategy.

Rob holds an Honours Business Administration degree from Ivey Business School at Western University. He is a member of the Business Council of Canada and the Ivey Business School Advisory Board. Rob also serves as Co-Chair of Sinai Health System Foundation in Toronto and sits on the hospital’s Board of Directors.
