Scott Fischer

Scott Fischer is the Chief Financial Officer at KingSett Capital. Scott joined KingSett in 2018 and is responsible for accounting, finance, budgeting, treasury, tax and information technology functions. Scott is also a member of KingSett’s Management Committee.

Scott has 30 years of finance and accounting experience in progressively senior roles, including Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Great Gulf Group, where he led the accounting, reporting, tax, and payroll and benefits platforms. Prior to that, Scott was Vice President, Finance at MI Developments Inc. and Magna Entertainment Corporation (“MEC”), where he oversaw finance, treasury, budgeting and transaction support, and played a key role in restructuring MEC.

Scott obtained his Chartered Accountant designation working at KPMG and holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University.
