About the Opportunity

KingSett Capital is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Technology team in Toronto. As a member of the technology team, you will work with key stakeholders to align technology solutions with business strategies. Your focus will be to gather requirements from business units and to work with the technical team to develop/recommend solutions. You will take a strategic view of the application portfolio and establish a longer-term vision for the evolution of applications to support evolving business needs.

Role Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, users, and technical teams.

  • Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, including evaluating business processes, eliciting requirements, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting solution development and implementation.

  • Elicit, analyze, validate, and manage business requirements from key stakeholders and business users.

  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.

  • Conduct market research and lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of vendor software solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.

  • Develop and utilize standardized templates to write clear, accurate, and concise requirements specifications.

  • Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to guide developers and/or the project team.

  • Communicate updates, changes, and enhancements to business requirements to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders.

  • Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; refine as necessary.

  • Support and guide business users through solution testing and validation.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in business analysis in alternative asset management industry.

  • Knowledge of real estate investment lifecycle technology platforms including Investor Portal, CRM systems, Investor Allocations and reporting solutions is preferred.

  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in business process management tools necessary for projects.

  • Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies.

Compensation

Base salary range of $130,000-$140,000
Total compensation includes salary, variable discretionary bonus, benefits, & other perks.
