Senior Financial Analyst, Properties

KingSett Capital is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Properties to join the Toronto team reporting to the Director of Finance, Properties. Role Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze monthly property financial statements and support working papers to ensure a consistent high standard of financial information has been provided by our Property Management companies.

  • Day-to-day accounting, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, including financial statement preparation.

  • Responsible for the annual budget process for properties.

  • Review or prepare statement of adjustments and post-closing adjustments for acquisition / disposition of assets.

  • Assist with the preparation of summary reports and portfolio analysis.

  • Co-ordinate the integration of new properties into the workflow and reporting structure.

  • Handle treasury functions for the portfolio such as renewal of BA, SOFR and borrowing requirements.

  • Partner with the team on accounting system upgrades and process improvement initiatives.

  • Participate in ad hoc requests and projects as required.

Candidate Profile

  • 2-5 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis, preferably in the real estate industry.

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, business or a related field.

  • Actively pursuing a CPA designation.

  • Proficiency within Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels, both internally and externally.

  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to assess complex situations and make effective recommendations.

  • Dedicated, well-organized and resourceful individual with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and juggle multiple competing tasks and demands under tight deadlines.

Compensation

Base salary range of $80,000-$95,000.
Total compensation includes salary, variable discretionary bonus, benefits, & other perks.
