Senior Financial Analyst, Properties

Role Responsibilities
Review and analyze monthly property financial statements and support working papers to ensure a consistent high standard of financial information has been provided by our Property Management companies.
Day-to-day accounting, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, including financial statement preparation.
Responsible for the annual budget process for properties.
Review or prepare statement of adjustments and post-closing adjustments for acquisition / disposition of assets.
Assist with the preparation of summary reports and portfolio analysis.
Co-ordinate the integration of new properties into the workflow and reporting structure.
Handle treasury functions for the portfolio such as renewal of BA, SOFR and borrowing requirements.
Partner with the team on accounting system upgrades and process improvement initiatives.
Participate in ad hoc requests and projects as required.
Candidate Profile
2-5 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis, preferably in the real estate industry.
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, business or a related field.
Actively pursuing a CPA designation.
Proficiency within Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels, both internally and externally.
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to assess complex situations and make effective recommendations.
Dedicated, well-organized and resourceful individual with a high level of attention to detail.
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and juggle multiple competing tasks and demands under tight deadlines.
Compensation
Base salary range of $80,000-$95,000.
Total compensation includes salary, variable discretionary bonus, benefits, & other perks.
