KingSett Capital is seeking a Financial Analyst, Properties to join the Toronto team reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, Properties. Role Responsibilities

  • Assist Manager of Finance, Properties with uploading monthly trial balance received from property management and joint venture companies.
  • Upload monthly packages received from property management and joint venture companies to the company’s intranet.
  • Assist Manager of Finance, Properties with:
    • Intercompany Reconciliation
    • Posting Journal Entries
    • Coding & Processing of head office invoices
    • Summary Reports and Portfolio Analysis
    • Annual Budget Process
    • Annual Audit Process
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving ad hoc issues regarding any financial reporting.
  • Assist with coordinating the integration of new properties into the workflow and reporting structure.
  • Handle treasury functions for the portfolio i.e. renewal of BA, borrowing requirements and any funding requests.
  • Participate in accounting system upgrades.
  • Liaise with property managers on HST/QST audit as well as file any head office HST / QST returns.
  • Participate in special projects, as they arise.

Candidate Profile

  • Actively pursuing professional accountancy designation.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • At least 2 – 5 years of work experience.
  • Excellent proficiency with MS Excel, and strong skills with other MS software.
