David Vernon is the Chief Legal Officer and ESG Lead at KingSett Capital. He is responsible for legal, corporate governance, compliance, corporate secretarial functions, KingSett’s ESG strategy and overall risk mitigation related matters.
Prior to joining KingSett, David spent over eight years as a senior associate in the corporate practice group at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP where he focused on M&A, corporate finance, corporate governance and general corporate matters including experience in the real estate and private equity sectors.
David is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, has an Honours Business of Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2006.
