Nelson actively supports the Urban Portfolio, by proactive management of leasing, capital, operational improvement initiatives, along with making recommendations and decisions in those areas.
Prior to joining KingSett, Nelson spent over 6 years in asset management and investment roles where he was responsible for executing real estate strategies across Canada and the United States. Most recently as Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management at a private equity real estate firm, Nelson was involved in acquiring value-add multi-residential properties, executing on value creation plans and selling the stabilized properties.
Nelson holds Bachelor of Applied Science, Master of Business Administration and Master of Engineering degrees, all from University ofToronto.
